Leon Seifalla Luce, 62, of Papaikou, died June 30 at his home. Born April 11, 1950, in Los Angeles, he was a retired psychiatric nurse for Hawaii State Adult Mental Health Division, former psychiatric nurse for Hilo Medical Center and Life Care Center of Hilo, Army Vietnam War veteran, volunteer for the American Red Cross member of The Muslim Association of Hawaii and American Psychiatric Association.

Private services were held. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 168, Hilo, HI 96721.

He is survived by wife, Khadiga Luce, of Papaikou; daughter, Vanda (Michael) Luce Epstein, of California; son, Ari Luce, of Hilo; brother, Larry (Elzbieta) Luce, of California; sister, Laura (Ken) Brown, of California; two grandchildren; a niece; a nephew.
